Greenway Grid Global Concluded a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) Agreement with Online Coding Education Start-up Codingal Inc.

Greenway Grid Global Pte. Ltd. (Headquarters: Singapore, President: Kazuhiko Shiba, hereinafter referred to as “GGG”) is pleased to announce that we have concluded a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) agreement with Codingal Inc. (Headquarters: Delaware, the United States, CEO: Vivek Prakash, hereinafter referred to as “Codingal”).

Codingal started with a dream to inspire school kids to fall in love with coding and to empower every child to build anything they can imagine. Targeting kindergarteners to high school students, it offers coding e-learning programs in English and enables students to learn skills that are useful in the digital era. It was launched in early 2021 and has reached out to over 350,000 students online to offer coding classes.

Currently, the courses include Scratch, Python, App development, web development, game development, data science, robotics. In the future, Codingal plans to expand into blockchain and AI courses as well. It is also partnering with reputed educational institutions and technology enterprise to promote coding culture among school students.

The instructors have an average of over seven years of coding experience and some of them had work experience in technology companies. They are expert teachers who have passed rounds of selections before being hired, and continue to receive training, ensuring the provision of high-quality education.

Currently, Codingal is seeking to enter the Japanese market to meet the growing needs for globalization and digitalization in Japan. GGG will support its expansion and provide a platform where Japanese children, the future creators, can learn global-standard coding and programming online in both English and Japanese.

Furthermore, while GGG provides specialized online courses such as ‘Innovation & MVP Creation,’ ‘Financial Courses,’ ‘Marketing, Branding, PR & Sales Courses’ in its talent training programs, we aim to establish ‘Digital Courses’ in cooperation with Codingal for adults, creating an opportunity for Japanese companies to easily learn global-standard coding skills and contribute to the accelerated development of Japan’s DX (Digital Transformation).

By supporting the growth of Codingal, GGG will engage with the education of children and the growth of Japanese companies, building lifelong relationships, and continuing to achieve our vision of Bring Happiness to the World.
